Devon Briggs

Devon has a plethora of weird and wonderful skills. In 2013 he completed his Bachelor of Industrial Design with Honours at Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand.

Devon is the production engine behind Silk’s workshop and fabrication output. With a background in industrial design, engineering, and hands-on fabrication, he brings innovative thinking, technical expertise and health and safety practices to every part of the business.

From rapid prototyping to CNC operations and complex builds, Devon thrives on problem-solving and making ideas physically come to life. Calm, curious, and highly skilled, he plays a key role in ensuring Silk’s designs are built smartly, efficiently, and to an exceptional standard.
